On the whole websites are becoming increasingly complex in there design (if done well this is often taken for granted), allowing for small amounts of dynamic content through to full on content management (the ability to administer your website through web pages without the need for any knowledge of how to write a single page).

Generally all the systems I build are built using ASP.net 3.5 (Microsoft’s Web Programming Language) in combination with MS SQL server and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets – provide a consistent look across your site and make future changes as simple to implement as possible).
